Short Notification: South Central Railway (SCR) is inviting applications for the recruitment of 4232 Act Apprentices for the year 2024-25 under the Apprentice Act, 1961. The online application process will commence on 28th December 2024 at 17:00 hrs and will close on 27th January 2025 at 23:59 hrs. Eligible candidates must have passed the 10th class with a minimum of 50% marks and possess an ITI certificate in the relevant trade. Applicants should be between 15 to 24 years of age, with age relaxations applicable as per rules. Additionally, candidates must belong to the specified districts under the SCR jurisdiction.The application fee is ₹100, although SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempt from this fee.

The age relaxation for the South Central Railway Act Apprentices Recruitment 2024-25 is as follows:

  1. SC/ST Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years.
  2. OBC-NCL Candidates: Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years.
  3. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years.
  4. Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years, up to the extent of service rendered in the Defence Forces.

    • Enter a valid mobile number and email ID, and create a password for future logins.
    • Submit the details to receive OTPs on your registered mobile number and email ID.

    • Enter personal details such as community, date of birth, candidate’s name, father’s name, and educational/technical qualifications.
    • Choose your option of priority/preference for the Railway Establishments of South Central Railway for training.

    • Upload a specimen signature (not more than 1MB in size).
