A11: Trades include AC Mechanic, Air Conditioning, Carpenter, Diesel Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic, Industrial Electronics, Electrician, Fitter, Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), Machinist, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance (MMTM), Painter, Welder, and more.

Q12: Is there any reservation for PwBD candidates?

A12: Yes, there is a 4% reservation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in identified trades. The reservation is adjusted in the appropriate category (UR/SC/ST/OBC-NCL).

 

Q13: Is there any reservation for Ex-Servicemen?

A13: Yes, there is a 3% reservation for Ex-Servicemen and children of serving soldiers/officers.

This reservation is also adjusted in the appropriate category (UR/SC/ST/OBC-NCL).

 

Q14: What is the mode of payment for the application fee?

A14: The application fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, or SBI UPI.

 

Q15: What should I do if I do not have a valid personal email ID or mobile number?

A15: You should create a valid email ID and obtain a mobile number before applying.

These should be maintained until the completion of the engagement process.

 

Q16: Can I apply if I am an engineering graduate or diploma holder?

A16: No, engineering graduates and diploma holders are not eligible to apply for this apprenticeship as they are governed by a separate scheme of apprenticeship.

 

Q17: What should I do if I do not have an Aadhaar card?

A17: If you do not have an Aadhaar card but have enrolled for it, you can enter the 28-digit Aadhaar enrolment ID printed on the Aadhaar enrolment slip.

Q18: How will the merit list be prepared?

A18: The merit list will be prepared by averaging the percentage marks obtained in both the 10th Class/matriculation and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.

Q19: What happens if two candidates have the same marks?

A19: If two candidates have the same marks, the candidate with the older age will be preferred.​

If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the 10th Class exam earlier will be considered.

 

Q20: Will there be any training and stipend provided?

A20: Yes, training will be arranged as per the standards and syllabus prescribed by the Central Apprenticeship Council.

Selected candidates will be paid a stipend during the apprenticeship at the prescribed rates.

 

Q21: What are the medical fitness requirements?

A21: Selected candidates must produce a medical certificate signed by a government-authorized doctor (Gazetted), not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon of Central/State Hospital, at the time of document verification.

 

Q22: Can I withdraw from the training after selection?

A22: Applicants selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw except for reasons beyond their control.

Those who willfully absent themselves are liable to refund the cost of their training and the stipend received.
