Uttarakhand TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Qualification for Paper-I

Class Educational Qualification
Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed

OR

appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed

OR

Appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed

OR

Appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed.

OR

Appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible to become becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates have to mandatorily undergo a six-month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher.

Qualification for Paper-II

Class 6th to 8th (Elementary Class) Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).
Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A / B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed.

  • Fill out the Online Application Form. Candidates are advised to note down his/her system generated Application Number. The candidate should supply all the details while filling the online
  • Application Form and no columns shall be kept vacant. After successful submission of the data, Application number will be generated.
  • Candidate must upload his/her scanned images of Photograph, Signature and Left-hand Thumb Impression. The scanned images of photograph, Signature and Thumb should be in jpg/jpeg
  • format only. Size of the photo image must be greater than 10 Kb and less than 100 Kb. The size of the signature image must be greater than 5 Kb and less than 50 Kb. The size of the Thumb Impression image must be greater than 5 Kb and less than 100 Kb.
  • After filling in the Application and Uploading images of photo, signature and Left-hand thumb impression, Candidate can view and edit the data and photo if necessary.
  • Candidates have to pay examination fee through online payment mode using Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card only.
